What a week!! I have been so busy making TONS of pumpkin/Turkey and Christmas outfits! I think I did over 15 shirts just this weekend and had 6 pairs of pants to go with all those outfits:) I also had a few other orders that I was finishing up. This is what my work room looked like for the past two weekends in a row ony this weekend there were twice as many shirts hanging:)

Playing Catch Up

I am behind once again but this time I can't help it!! Due to the devastating storms that we had here in the South this past week many of us were left without power. I feel very blessed to say that power was the only thing I was left without. I have never been so scared the way I was on Wednesday morning at 5:45am when I had to literally rip my kids out of their beds in a dead sleep. We have minor damage to the outside of our house (deck) and for that I am truly thankful. My heart aches for those who are suffering some kind of loss from the storms that roared through so many of your homes.

So, I am on vacation if that is what you want to call it! My husband has left on a mission trip to Peru and I am holding the fort down with my two little helpers. With that being said, I am not doing any sewing this week or at least very little. I have several pictures of things that were wrapped up and shipped out before he left but have not found the energy in me to upload them. So, watch out because I may over load you in the next week! Sorry I have been MIA lately!! My family and I have been busy- busy- busy over the last few days. Not the cutest stockings but I have a very non-traditional color scheme in my house for Christmas so there was not a lot to pick from. However, I did get a great deal since everything was 50% at Hobby Lobby this weekend!! I also did some other stockings for a customer and they are way cuter!

These are so cool:) One of my favorite applique sites has introduced button tabs. You know, like the tabs that are interchangeable with monograms and names on them from Kelley's kids, Ragsland, etc. These will be so great for covering an old monogram, design, applique or just allowing you to use t-shirts and outfits for more than just one season! I tested one for my son and it turned out pretty cute. I can't wait to try some more when I have the "correct" supplies at my house! The button tab that I did is the traditional size and it is actually covering up an existing design. These come in all different shapes and sizes and the options are endless (you can put a name, monogram, applique, etc)...super cute!!!
